I didn’t know this was classical music! Drawing on melodies that are bound to ring a bell, the program makes listening to classical music a fun-filled activity for children. Each episode starts with a stirring performance of a familiar classical tune. A short animation featuring the calico cat commentator, “Cheese,” provides interesting tidbits of information such as backstories and anecdotes about the piece. Young viewers engage more than just their eyes and ears. This educational program teaches them to appreciate classical music while teaching them how to express themselves through creative outlets.
