A young fisherman desperate in a hopeless fishing village plans to drown in the sea to escape to his wife's hometown of Vietnam. The old captain's good intentions to help this put the fisherman's wife and the old mother, who had to endure the death of the head of the household, in excruciating pain. A little lie that began with only hope. A plan that would end in a week without harming anyone. But the search for fishermen is not over a month old, and the barely supported community implodes as debt-ridden townspeakers rush into the name of death insurance premiums. As the fisherman's wife, who couldn't even care about her old mother, was exposed to the assault, the captain, who could no longer watch, pushes the fisherman and his family to finish the work somehow. Eventually, the fisherman's work clothes are found on the shore, and the search is closed, and the family that receives the insurance money can leave, and the old mother refuses to leave at the moment when everyone can be happy.
