Battleship Lonewolf – Background Story
In the distant future, mankind makes a breakthrough in the discovery of space resources called Powerstones. However, this resource was very deadly toxic. The power stone was treated very carefully, but over time it eventually transformed some of the human DNA. As a result, there are people who have toxic immunity and are able to resonate with power stones and amplify energy efficiency. These were special beings called M. PA (Mutant, Powerstone-Activator), but fall into being discriminated against by many other human beings.
The World Government, which governs the Earth, has gathered the M.P.A.'s to form an ‘Exploration Fleet' under the name of being for all humanity on Earth. Their apparent surface goal was to find space exploration and more, high-purity power stones.
Through space exploration and research in the solar system, mankind became aware of the mysterious and tremendous power of space, power stone. However, it is said that this resource can not be maintained for a long time because the amount of resources in the solar system is limited.
The mankind then draws only those who are born with special powers capable of responding to Powerstones (M.P.A.) and sends out an exploration / settlement fleet every decade. Each of them was able to react, activate and amplify their distinctive power to the power stone. But in the last 100 years, no one came back.
